Shrink That Spam Head

Doesn’t it just make your day when another writer posts links to their own blog in a comment box to your poetry?!!!!

But then I thought, why get annoyed, just laugh at a mind who thinks so highly of themselves, all they have to say to is, “Have you seen my blog?”

Oh please, get over yourselves you big headed spammers!  We are all the same here on WordPress, writing little pieces of our lives.  If you want others to read your work, maybe have something to say about what you’ve written – write something good, write from the heart, then be patient.  Don’t expect, don’t demand attention, because you won’t get it.

Shrink that spam head.  Be an interesting person, see the talent in others, and people will like you too.

A Fine Wash Of Azure

I follow his pen
the strokes and lines
the flourish the angle
how he spells sincerity
so plain and honest
with a fine wash of azure
as life really is
and strange how nobody
wants to read it
only elegance dressed as truth
humanity’s harsh hours
are a measure too blue
and never as lovely as sky

How Life Appears

is not what is at all

I look
and tell myself tales
of how life appears
of where I’ve been
and where I’m going

That’s the trouble
with a writing mind
you never know
what part of it
you should believe
